Norwegian indie quartet Veps have since the age of 17 garnered critical acclaim both internationally and at home for their songwriting.
Having known each other ever since elementary school, Helena, Laura, June and Maja started the band at 14. Three years later, they were signed to US label Kanine Records and played showcase festivals such as The Great Escape, by:Larm, Reeperbahn and more.
Their debut EP Open The Door paved the way for their first album Oslo Park, produced by Matias Tellez. Many of the singles received strong support from Spotify, and both UK radio (BBC 6, Amazing Radio) and their Norwegian counterparts NRK P3 and P13 playlisted several of the tracks.
Veps have also played major festivals in Norway, such as Øyafestivalen, and in 2022 the band undertook their first headlining club tour of the UK.
Their second album Dedicated To also received international and domestic praise, with indie tracks such as Greetings From Peru and Thanks To You making waves on both sides of the Atlantic.
Still only in their 23rd year, the band have been recording their third album with Marcus Forsgren in their hometown of Oslo. They have also signed to Swedish label PNKSLM, entering a new phase of their career.
