On September 21, 2026 at Rough Trade Bristol, Ezra Collective swap the stage for the decks with a special in-store DJ set built around the release of Here Because of Hope. Coming out of London’s jazz renaissance, the quintet is known for flipping jazz chops into something physical and street-level, where afrobeat swing, hip-hop edges, dub space and Caribbean rhythms naturally lock together.
Expect a selection that reflects the way they write and play: groove-first, restless, and made for movement, with the same sense of collective interplay that powers their records from early EPs through Where I’m Meant to Be and beyond. This DJ set is a chance to catch Ezra Collective in a more direct, party-minded mode, tracing the connections between the sounds that feed their music and the new chapter opened by Here Because of Hope.
