Ezra Collective swap the stage for the decks on September 21, 2026 at Rough Trade Bristol, for an in-store DJ set built around the release of their new album Here Because of Hope. Coming out of London’s jazz hotbed, the five-piece are known for turning contemporary jazz into something that moves: afrobeat pulse, hip-hop swing, soul warmth, dub weight, and Caribbean flashes, all held together by a sharp sense of groove.
In DJ mode, expect that same restless curiosity: deep cuts and dancefloor-minded selections that trace the band’s influences as much as their own catalogue, from early breakthroughs like Chapter 7 to the wider-reaching albums that followed. It’s a chance to hear what fuels Ezra Collective beyond the instruments, and to catch the collective’s taste and rhythm instincts up close, in a set designed for heads and for bodies.
