On February 7, 2027, at Indigo at The O2 in London, Tangerine Dream brings its long-form electronic storytelling back to the stage. Born in Berlin in 1967 around Edgar Froese, the band helped shape the “Berlin School” sound: slow-building pieces where ambient haze, repeating sequences and shifting synth pulses lock into a hypnotic forward motion.
Expect a live set that plays with tension and release rather than verse-chorus hooks, moving through evolving textures, cosmic moods and improvisation. It’s the kind of concert where the music keeps transforming in real time, from minimal patterns to dense layers, with that unmistakable vintage-meets-modern electronic palette.
