Pretty Sick brings its New York-bred indie rock to The Mod Club in Toronto on November 9, 2026. Fronted by bassist and singer Sabrina Fuentes, the project sits where alternative rock meets grunge grit, noise abrasion and post-punk edge, driven by thick, saturated guitars and a rhythm section that likes to hit hard and linger.
Onstage, the band plays with contrasts: tense, jagged bursts that snap into place, then slower, heavier stretches where the bass comes forward and the vocals turn inward. From the early punch of the EPs DEAR ULTRAVIOLET and Come Down to the sharper balance of Makes Me Sick Makes Me Smile and the more direct guitar push of Streetwise, Pretty Sick’s set is built to move between raw energy and melodic confession without smoothing the corners. Expect a club show that feels physical, loud, and focused on songs that stick.
