Born between two cities and raised on the dancefloor, Hypernormalization returns to Berlin for a reunion at Acud Club on 21.08.2026.

Berlin, we'd like to introduce you to Los Angeles. Turns out LA is gay.

Somewhere between LA warehouses and Berlin basements, Hypernormalization has become a meeting point for artists, DJs, dancers, lovers, and the beautifully unhinged. This Hype Nyte reunites friends and collaborators from both sides of the Atlantic and invites everyone to join the family.

Expect dark electronics, hypnotic rhythms, industrial textures, mutant club sounds, sweaty kisses, dramatic eye contact, and at least one cigarette that's somehow more therapeutic than your actual therapist.

This is a celebration of queer nightlife in all its forms: sweaty, messy, sexy, political, tender, and just a little bit delusional. A dancefloor where strangers become accomplices, flirting is a communal activity, and everyone's hotter after 3 a.m.

Come dance. Come flirt. Come fall in love for six minutes. From LA to Berlin, Hypernormalization is bringing a suitcase full of queer chaos.

Just another mediocre gay DJ in LA—or so he claims. In reality, DJ Targay (aka Jon Warner) is the creative force driving some of the city's immersive spaces. As the founder of SEVR, he handles everything from stage design to hypnotic visuals, translating a dancer’s understanding of rhythm into physical space. Now holding things down as a resident for Hypernormalization, his sound is high-octane energy: cunty techno spiked with erratic video game nostalgia. He doesn't just play for the dancefloor; he built it.

Antaeus Roy aka Lando, a Berlin-based producer, musician, DJ whose sound bridges eras and cities from Sacramento to San Francisco, New York to Berlin, for two decades he’s been crafting rhythmic machine-driven worlds of groove within early jack house, italo, techno, wave, and 80s industrial dance.
A founding half of Lazer Sword and a shapeshifter under monikers like Lando Kal, his releases have landed on Rush Hour, Numbers, Mistress, Hypercolour, his own Myth Music imprint and beyond. His 80s hardware gear-leaning aesthetic and vintage futurist touch have resonated across dancefloors from a Tresor Berlin residency, to Berghain, Melt, Dimensions, Fabric, Space Ibiza and others.
With a sound equal parts retro grit and magnetic momentum, Antaeus Roy continues to evolve, keeping bodies moving and minds orbiting somewhere between nostalgia and the next night out.

Born in Sweden and based in Berlin since 2010, Linnéa Palmestål is known for her work as the head teacher, mentor and co-founder of No Shade, a now retired event series and collective focused on fostering and supporting FLINTA DJ talent.
With some 12 years experience as a DJ and a rich track library that spans the past decade in experimental club music and reflects a history of definitive releases by underground artists, Linnéa’s playful, bouncy sets span bass-heavy and broken beats, R&B edits, latin club and a blend of other hybrid styles and sub-genres that merge to create a sonic experience that will keep you glued to the dance floor.

Breach • LA
Brian De Loera (aka Miñin) is a DJ/artist from Los Angeles, California. He has been on the dancefloor (and in the pits) for at least two decades, experiencing and contributing to some of the city’s parties, including Mustache Mondays, Rhonda, L.A.U.R.A., Machine Club, and more.
Miñin co-runs the party Breach alongside Venganza, which has been at the forefront of cutting-edge dance music, spanning club, house, vogue, deconstructed, and more. Now carrying the mantle for Los Angeles parties that are inclusive of all genders, races, and sexual orientations, and that bring people together on the dancefloor, Miñin honors his predecessors while helping move LA nightlife into its next generation.

Mithril is an LA/NYC based multimedia artist.
Her themes center around fantastical transhumanist cyber escapism, exploration of strange, distant worlds, and breaking the established boundaries of reality.
Her style is usually dreamy and dissociative, but also at times aims to get you to aggressively thrash all of your frustration, fear, and anxiety away.
She was a resident to NYC’s Melting Point, the co-founder of one of the original virtual raves, Hurt-free Network (2017), and for nu.

Berlin-based DJ/producer Privacy delivers raw, electro-driven sets shaped by noise, funk, and atmospheric experimentation. With performances at Berghain, a collaboration with Japanese producer Fetus on Herrensauna, and a tour across Asia, he continues to refine a tense, futuristic sound that hits with precision and mood.

Saint Michael started DJing at 13, but has taken on sidequests to study engineering at Stanford, create fine art, and run a design agency. As the founding force behind Speed Los Angeles, he built a mecca for underground culture, art, and queer collaboration in LA. Today, he resides in Brooklyn where his hunt for his future ex husband continues.

Securing_Consent is the founder of Hypernormalization, a collective moving between Los Angeles and Berlin, organizing raves and cultivating spaces for adventurous electronic music and uncompromising dancefloor experiences.
Drawn to the tension between control and surrender, Securing_Consent crafts sets that blur the line between hypnosis and impact. Industrial textures collide with psychedelic rhythms, dub pressure, broken percussion, and moments of eerie beauty, unfolding patiently into something intimate and overwhelming.
Influenced by underground fetish culture, abandoned warehouses, and the rituals of the night, their approach favors restraint over excess, letting anticipation, repetition, and atmosphere do the work. Rather than chasing instant gratification, each set invites dancers deeper into a state where desire, mystery, and release coexist.

(ტუსაღი: "prisoner" in Georgian) is a project apparently concerned with notions of wilderness and the undomesticated, particularly in relation to rhythmical musical expressions. Little is known about the person or persons behind it beyond links to an artist residency in the Caucasus, sporadic performances on Mutant Radio Tbilisi, a connection to Hypernormalization in Los Angeles, as well as a single track released on Northern Electronics in Sweden in 2020.

Vap1d is an experimental open-format DJ and artist based in Los Angeles, mainly inspired by techno, bounce, ghettotech, pc music, and trance. They began DJing in 2020, inspired by zoom raves they attended during quarantine. Working their way up from house parties to warehouse raves, they became the resident DJ for Trans*cendent LA, and have played at events including RE/FORM, Tough.luvv, Subculture Party, and SXTCY. Their sense of humor and childlike wonder comes through in their open-format track selection and storytelling.

Finding their start in the alternative queer dancefloors of Oakland in 2013 at ClubFist, Valleyghoul is satiated by styles and sounds from the Bat Cave, Blitz, and Danceteria, spinning anything synthpunk, electroclash, hyperpop, minimalwave, and hyphy from LA to Stockholm.
Their present musical project is Facial Feminization Surgery (F.F.S.), solo artist Kristian Moreno's minimal-electronic venture based in Los Angeles, CA. A new wave fever dream through the lenses of freestyle and the experimental, F.F.S. presents a melange of endearing and harsh subjects and sounds.

Viscerale is a Berlin-based artist known for her genre-fluid, high-energy sets that blend the dark atmospheres of techno, trance and at times hardcore with emotional depth and raw intensity. Her performances are driven by a sense of storytelling, moving between hypnotic builds, cathartic peaks, and unexpected turns.
Her relationship with music began in childhood, where sound became her main form of connection and expression. From curating mixtapes to stepping behind the decks in 2015, her journey has been shaped by diverse influences, including Hamburg's experimental scene and her classical piano background.
Over the years, Viscerale has become a steady presence in the global electronic scene, playing internationally and at Berlin institutions such as Berghain, Tresor, OHM, and RSO. Her sound has reached cities like London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen, as well as audiences in the US and Canada.
Alongside her main project, she has been playing fully hardcore-focused sets for several years. Since 2025, she channels this side more explicitly through her alias DJ Cvntface and as part of Gabber Industries Berlin & Hakke, pushing faster and more extreme sounds while staying rooted in emotional intensity.
