Info
Fresh from the studio with producer Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Erasure, Interpol and more), Close to Monday arrive at The Hope & Ruin in Brighton on 26 September 2026 as part of their UK tour with a sound built to move both the body and the mind. Blending the atmospheric textures of new wave with the energy of electro-rock and the pulse of modern dance music, the duo create an immersive live experience that is cinematic and hypnotic. Expect soaring melodies, driving synths, powerful guitars and rhythms that transform the venue into a dancefloor.
Joining them are two emerging UK artists. Larlin, formed in Brighton in 2024, fuse raw emotion with razor-sharp production, fronted by Sheffield-born songwriter Maryann Hoar. Combining melancholic lyricism with punchy alt-rock energy, they work alongside producers Lewis Foord (Wet Leg, Kid Kapichi) and Cameron Nesbitt (Lovejoy, James Marriott).
Opening the night is Lynnie Snow, an alternative singer-songwriter whose atmospheric world was shaped by artists such as Kate Bush, Mitski and David Bowie. Raised near Portsmouth, she began writing songs at 13 before producing her own music throughout lockdown.
