On March 28, 2027, at Rouen’s Zénith, Sylvie Vartan returns with 'Ma Vie en Chanson, avec Vous…', a rendezvous conceived as a journey through her repertoire. A major figure of the yé-yé movement, she established in the 1960s a French pop nourished by twist, rock ’n’ roll and Anglo-American adaptations, carried by a direct writing style and melodies that linger in the memory.
On stage, the idea is simple: to tell a journey in songs, from the major titles that marked the start of her career to the pieces that accompanied the evolution toward a more orchestrated and stage-oriented pop repertoire in the following decades. Expect to rediscover the energy of the classics, iconic choruses and that sense of showmanship that has become her signature, between music-hall memories, sentimental songs and more rock and soul-flavored bursts. A concert built like a story, to be shared without contrived nostalgia, in the present.
