Hailing from Slapout, a small town in Alabama, he writes as he sings: simple and sharp stories rooted in daily life, hometown memories, loves that get tangled, and the unplanned turns life takes.
Having spent time in Nashville after an early life as a firefighter, Braden has stood out through relentless gigging and a highly narrative writing style. His EP What Do They Know (2021) lays the groundwork: thick guitars, hooks that stick, mid-tempo ballads, and direct energy. In 2022, his appearance on the American Song Contest with 'Seventeen' confirmed this penchant for songs that move forward like a narrative, with the voice at the center.
