Road Warriors Tour 2027 marks Wishbone Ash’s return to the stage, the cult British rock band that made twin guitars its true signature. Formed in the late 1960s, the English quickly established this two-guitar harmony sound, blending blues, hard rock and touches of progressive influences, with a strong penchant for long instrumental passages and melodies that stretch out.
Their discography speaks for itself: Wishbone Ash (1970) to lay the foundations, Pilgrimage (1971) to broaden the field, then Argus (1972) where folk and a more narrative writing style densify the proposition, before Wishbone Four (1973) and There’s the Rub (1974) which firmly established them on the road. Despite lineup changes, the spirit remains the same, carried today by Andy Powell: classic, precise rock that relies on the ongoing dialogue between the two guitars.
