Anyone who has experienced LSB and DRS together knows the principle: DJ and MC truly intertwine here. LSB stands for a liquid-infused Drum'n'Bass that combines pressure and atmosphere, with organic details, subtle melodies, and a penchant for the cinematic. DRS adds this rare blend of rap flow, timing, and lyrical sharpness, one that sits just as well on fast breakbeats as on soulful productions. Together it's not a simple Beats & Bars set, but a dialogue between sound design and voice, direct and focused.
LSB traces its roots to the early 2000s club culture and has consistently sharpened its style through releases and collaborations, including with DRS. DRS has been active since the 1990s, was part of Broke'n'English and has worked with people like Calibre or Marcus Intalex; his solo albums and the joint project The Blue Hour show how effortlessly he fuses emotion and rhythmic complexity.
As an additional kick, Workforce stands on the lineup, the solo project of Jack Stevens (SpectraSoul). His tracks move between nocturnal depth and precise breakbeats, with arrangements that tell stories rather than merely drive. You can hear them on September 19, 2026 at Gretchen in Berlin.
