Mac Declos, a DJ and producer of the new generation of French techno, focuses his work on fast tempos, percussive grooves, and melodic lines influenced by trance and hardgroove. Based in France, he adopts a direct club aesthetic built around long builds, fragmented vocal motifs, and strongly marked rhythms, at the crossroads between techno, hard techno, and more tribal-sounding sonorities. Discovered in the late 2010s thanks to a string of independently released tracks and EPs, Mac Declos subsequently releases on different European labels, gradually taking him to club stages and rave-oriented nights in France and abroad. His sets, often fast and continuous, favor tight transitions and texture variations, extending in the booth the producer’s approach he develops in the studio.
