Singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer born in Istanbul, Gökhan Türkmen rose to prominence in the mid-2000s thanks to tracks shared online, before forging his path on stage and in the studio. His Turkish pop leans on a balance between melodic ballads, catchy choruses and a softer rock edge, often supported by acoustic arrangements.
Identified early with his first album Büyük İnsan (2008), he then pursued projects and refined his writing, oscillating between sentimental tracks and faster tempos, without abandoning the live format that remains at the heart of his identity. In recent years, he has featured on tracks such as Dünyanın En Güzel Kokusu (2017), Aşk Mantık İntikam (2021) and Mahşer (2022), which aptly capture his melodic sense and direct emotional expression.
Gökhan Türkmen will perform in Paris, at Cabaret Sauvage, on October 17, 2026.
