The multi-instrumentalist and producer Sami Galbi emerges from Lausanne's underground scene, drawing on his parallel musical universes to forge a distinctive, singular sound. He embraces North African raï and chaâbi and blends them with the electronic rhythms and textures that shaped his childhood. His influences include American hip-hop, UK bass, house, and Afro-Caribbean and dance music. In live performances, analog machines, raw synthesizers and electric guitar drive a show with punk energy.
In the second part, Aziz Konkrite, a child of hip-hop and the DIY culture, embarks on a timeless musical journey blending chaabi, Aïta, Raggada, Amarg, and Gnawa traditions with futuristic electro sounds, reinvented and tailored for the dancefloors.
This concert at Canal 93 is part of the Festival Villes des Musiques du Monde and the Mediterranean Season 2026 presented by the Institut Français.
