Baby Berserk ∙ Punk | Amsterdam
Baby Berserk was born in Amsterdam at the initiative of Mano Hollestelle, Lieselot Elzinga and Eva Wijnbergen. Inspired by fashion icon Vivienne Westwood, the band seeks to fuse punk, fashion and music in a glamorous chaos. Blending post-punk, early house and 1990s pop, Baby Berserk offers incisive, seductive and danceable tracks. Their performances are festive and sometimes unpredictable, a little dangerous at times, a little absurd at others, but never tame or conventional.
shortstraw. • Punk/rap | UK
shortstraw. is a punk/rap artist from Coventry who records everything in a friend’s shed. She operates entirely DIY. Her very first show took place during a Live Lounge on BBC Radio 6, which subsequently allowed her to support Soft Play, The Libertines, and Stone in early 2024. Her music is powerful, energetic and accessible; she tells stories about growing up in Great Britain, in a vibe reminiscent of Hak Baker, The Streets, The Prodigy, Amyl and The Sniffers and early British punk.
oda. • Indie pop folk | Angers
oda. is a duo that blends acoustic melodies and synth textures, between Radiohead, The Dø and Grand Blanc. The two artists inhabit an indie pop folk universe with electronic touches. Cradled by Anna Bozovic’s voice, which recalls Cat Power, Björk and Cocorosie, and by the guitar sounds of Théo Noël-Apperry, their songs carry you into a sensitive universe. Founded in June 2022, oda. creates its music near Angers: Théo writes and records all the instruments, Anna writes the melodic arrangements and the lyrics in French but also in English and in Serbian. The duo’s songs are built like confessions, stories, lullabies.
