Matilda Mann comes to Rough Trade Liverpool on September 7, 2026 for an intimate instore set celebrating Kismet. Hailing from West London, she’s built her world around soft, close-up songwriting: indie folk and folk-pop with a pop instinct, a guitar often out front, and a voice that stays calm even when the feelings don’t. Her songs move through relationships, small doubts and everyday scenes, with tight melodies and stripped-back arrangements that leave plenty of space for the lyrics.
After a run of EPs released across the early 2020s, Matilda Mann stepped into album mode with Roxwell in 2025, while also popping up alongside other artists as a collaborator and support act. This Liverpool date is a chance to hear the new Kismet material in its most direct form, in the kind of setting that suits her best: simple, personal, and focused on the songs.
