Pioneers of shoegaze who chased chart success during the Britpop era, before entering a reunion phase, The Boo Radleys have followed an unconventional path in which relentless sonic experimentation has always been a hallmark.
Today, the trio—original members Simon "Sice" Rowbottom (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Tim Brown (bass, guitar, keyboards, vocals) and Rob Cieka (drums, vocals)—announces the release of its new album In Spite of Everything on May 1.
As they have always shown, The Boo Radleys possess a talent for finding melodies in offbeat sounds. It is the sound of The Boo Radleys using touches from their catalog as a foundation for an adventure into new territories.
