At the borderlands of English ballads and old repertoires, Rosemary Standley rediscovers the folk vein that has always run through her voice. Known for her work with Moriarty, the Franco-American singer enjoys weaving together popular song, traditional tunes, and a more personal voice, with that precise diction and storytelling sensibility that set her apart.
On October 17, 2026, she teams up with the Musicians of Saint-Julien for a program that goes back to the roots of folk music, between melodies from across the Channel and finely crafted arrangements. A concert conceived as a journey: no showmanship, but a spotlight on the texts, timbres and melodic lines, where emotion comes through in simplicity and careful listening.
