On September 2, 2026, Mietze Conte performs at the Ritz PDB in Montreal with a live show that deliberately blurs the line between deconstructed pop and club electronics. Based in Vienna, the project first drew attention in 2022 with 'bunnybunnybunny' and the EP Nervous, where intimate vocals, catchy melodies, and ambient textures coexist with twisted rhythms, sometimes almost abrasive. Since then, Mietze Conte has released short-form formats such as 'Under my Bed' and 'dreaming of your latte art', maintaining a taste for contrast: softness that fractures, tension that subsides, tracks that shed their skin along the way.
On stage, this mobile writing takes on another dimension, designed as much for listening as for physical impact. After dates that have taken him from Tokyo to Seoul, via Europe and Australia, he comes to present a substantial and recent discography, including the album Mietzee and more ambient releases like 'ee oo', without being confined to a single register. An electronic proposition that is sensitive and direct, moving quickly and leaving room for accidents.
