Jeanne Cherhal returns to the stage on 14 November 2026 at the Théâtre Antoine Watteau in Nogent-sur-Marne for a concert true to her image: frank, intimate and driven by writing that goes straight to the point. A Nantes-born singer-songwriter, vocalist, pianist and bassist, she has built since the early 2000s a French chanson that is at once edgy and sensitive, where humor and tenderness mingle with the details of daily life.
Across her albums, from Douze fois par an to L’Eau, Histoire de J. or L’an 40, Cherhal has refined a distinctly personal way of telling about relationships, contradictions, impulses and retreats, never seeking effect. The piano remains her anchor, between stripped-down formats and more pop arrangements. On stage, her songs take on another hue: more direct, more vibrant, with this knack for letting words and silences circulate.
