Ashen Gravity

Ashen, a rock/metal band founded in Paris in 2021, has become a cathartic outlet, driving the development of a multifaceted and introspective identity. The past, traumas, and fears that the modern world provokes in the band members are the essence of their creativity. Their music comprises harrowing and dark sonic textures that express the sorrows of the past and the fears of the future, shaping each member's personality. Ashen's aim is to delve deeply into the expression of intense and intimate feelings and to bring together opposing emotional poles. With their powerful, massive sound, their distinctive universe, and their ability to break free from conventions, the Parisian outfit had already captivated audiences even before the release of their first album Chimera in September 2025. This opus, dark and contrasted, coupled with notable live performances (Hellfest, opening slots for August Burns Red or Papa Roach), propelled them to the forefront of the French and international metalcore scene.

Gravity, a Montpellier-based outfit, forges a dystopian metal that is at once raw and pared-back, continually evolving. Driven by the distinctive voice of Émilie, who alternates intensely between emotionally charged clean singing and visceral screams, the band crafts a universe that is raw, intense, and modern. Active on French and European stages, they leave a mark with their energy and their singular cinematic universe. After four acclaimed albums and numerous dates in France and Europe – including Noir in 2017 and Momentum in 2023 – Gravity returns with the sequel to this ambitious concept album, exploring the fall of Momentum, a dark citadel inspired by a metallic metropolis. This new opus, Rupture - Momentum II, features guest vocals by Alcest, Cage Fight, Stinky, and Atlantis Chronicles.
