Decius, the acid house group bringing together Lias Saoudi (Fat White Family), Luke and Liam May of Trashmouth Records, and Quinn Whalley (Paranoid London and Warmduscher), has established itself since Vol. I with a radical vision of the club: raw energy with no boundaries or compromises.
Their performances at Berghain, Glastonbury Festival, or Nuits Sonores have left a lasting impression. The project has been playlisted by artists such as Dixon, Honey Dijon, Busy P, and Iggy Pop.
With Decius Vol. II (Splendour & Obedience), the group broadens its sonic universe even further, straddling house, disco and techno. Decius seeks neither seduction nor nostalgia. The group evokes a primal physicality, a collective trance, a space where dance becomes an outlet and chaos, a form of liberation. Between incantation, performance and electronic blast, Decius redefines the club as a contemporary ritual.
