This intimate conviction, developed over more than fifteen years during which he accompanied Johnny as musical director, forms the starting point of a singular project entrusted to him: to reproduce all the strength and emotion of Johnny Hallyday's voice as it resonated in concert, while offering him the sonic setting that studio recordings make possible.

From this ambition arise two albums: in 2019, Johnny, and in 2021 Act II. Both are based on an unprecedented principle: preserving Johnny Hallyday's live vocal takes and magnifying them with new arrangements, sometimes symphonic, sometimes deliberately pared down. A faithful homage to the artist, with the intensity that only the stage could reveal.

In May 2022, Johnny Symphonique hit the road for a first tour of twenty dates. Under Yvan Cassar's direction, more than a hundred musicians, a choir, and a spectacular visual creation accompany Johnny's voice, reimagined on three giant screens. The great classics regain their breath: Diego, libre dans sa tête, L’Envie, Allumer le feu, Que je t’aime, but also Marie, Sang pour sang, or Je te promets. A new series of concerts is scheduled for spring 2024, enriched with new titles including Gabrielle, Noir c’est noir, and the rhythm and blues medley imagined by Johnny in the sixties. The repertoire expands, the emotion remains intact.

In 2027, as the public prepares to commemorate the ten years since Johnny Hallyday's passing, Johnny Symphonique opens a new chapter. From November 10, 2027, the show will embark on a 23-date run across France through March 2028, including a date at the Caen Zénith. Still under the direction of Yvan Cassar, it will continue to bring this voice to life, carried by the power of a symphony orchestra and a spectacular staging.

This new tour will present new musical tableaux, an expanded repertoire, and several guests who will join to share in this celebration.
