Whether you’ve followed Converge since the 1990s or you’re just discovering them, this concert is your chance to experience first‑hand their unique way of twisting hardcore and metal. Formed around Jacob Bannon and Kurt Ballou in the Boston area, the band built itself on taut songs, broken rhythms, screeching dissonances, and sharp accelerations, never losing that eye for detail that makes their chaos so precise.
From their early milestones such as Halo in a Haystack and Petitioning the Empty Sky to the watershed turn of Jane Doe, Converge imposed nerve‑wracking metalcore, threaded with melodic shards and lyrics more introspective than they appear. The follow‑up from You Fail Me to The Dusk in Us widens the spectrum further, with more atmospheric passages and, at times, a heavier, slower heft, as on Bloodmoon: I. See you on November 20, 2026 at SWG3 Glasgow to witness them bring this intensity to the stage.
