On November 19, 2026, at Electric Bristol, Converge will lay down another layer of tension and precision the only way they know how. Since the early 1990s, the Boston-based group has steered its path at the boundary of hardcore punk and extreme metal, delivering razor-sharp songs, piercing dissonances, and tempo changes that drop without warning. A physical, dense kind of music, powered by Jacob Bannon's voice and Kurt Ballou's abrasive guitars, never letting go of the raw edge and maintaining that appetite for blunt, visceral lyrics. Around them, a bill that hits across distinctly different registers. Sanguisugabogg brings back its heavy, groovy death metal, fueled by brutal ferocity and slam, with riffs that insist and a rhythm designed to make necks snap. Blackbraid crafts more airy and narrative black metal atmospheres, while Pupil Slicer pushes the mathcore envelope: syncopations, jagged angles, nerve-fueled energy and writing that careens in every direction without losing impact.
