Info
If you’re into modern country that keeps a rough edge, Jackson Dean is the kind of singer who brings as much rock grit as Nashville polish. Born in Maryland and based in Nashville since high school, he’s built his sound on a deep, raspy voice, big-tempo grooves and country-rock arrangements that lean into wide-open spaces, restlessness and darker moods rather than radio shine.
After early online buzz, he sharpened his writing in Nashville and hit the road on opening slots for artists like Kane Brown, Jake Owen and Brothers Osborne. Signed to Big Machine in 2021, he dropped the EP Jackson Dean before laying down his calling card with Greenbroke (2022): tense, punchy country-rock and hooks that stick without smoothing out the edges. Tracks like “Don’t Come Lookin’” and “Fearless (The Echo)” pushed him further into the spotlight, and he’s kept that momentum with On the Back of My Dreams (2024) and Magnolia Sage (2026), always built for the stage.
Catch Jackson Dean live on September 4, 2026 at The Bronson in Ottawa.
