On 15 August 2026 at Phonox in London, DJ Assault steps back into the booth with the kind of Detroit-born ghettotech that doesn’t waste time: fast tempos, clipped vocal hooks, thick bass and that raw electro edge that’s been his signature since the ’90s. A prolific producer and a DJ shaped by block parties and local radio culture, he moves between booty house, Miami bass attitude and stripped-back techno structures, keeping the mix tight, direct and built for the floor.
Alongside him, Washington, D.C. collective Black Rave Culture (Amal, James Bangura and Nativesun) bring a hybrid club language that slides between footwork, techno and UK-leaning bass pressure. Their sets are all about rhythm shifts, percussive snap and momentum, with Afro-diasporic club sounds woven in without turning them into simple references.
