Info
Suede return to Warsaw and, on 23 July 2026, will perform at the Progresja club. The band, which in the early 1990s helped lay the foundations of Britpop, has always gone its own way: instead of closing itself off to the fashion of the era, it blended edgy guitars with glam-tinged nerve and an art‑rock imagination. Early singles 'The Drowners', 'Metal Mickey' and 'Animal Nitrate' quickly drew the attention of the British press, and the debut 'Suede' (1993) became a touchstone for an entire wave of British bands. At the helm is Brett Anderson, a charismatic frontman with a distinctive singing style and magnetic stage presence. In their music you can hear the influence of David Bowie, but also a constant need to explore new shades: from darker, more dramatic moments to tracks with a clearly pop edge. The Warsaw concert will be an opportunity to hear a cross-section of this history, including from the latest album 'Antidepressants', which further confirms that Suede still speak with their own voice.
