She Past Away arrives in Dublin for a live show on September 23, 2026 at Button Factory, bringing its dark and tense cold wave that has earned a place well beyond Turkey. Born in Bursa in the mid-2000s, the project has grown around a dry post-punk songwriting and minimal electronic production, driven by Volkan Caner's Turkish-language vocals, deep and detached.
Over the course of releases, the duo has refined a signature made of reverb-drenched guitars, rigid drum machines, and bass lines that loop hypnotically. From early tracks and the Kasvetli Kutlama EP to Belirdi Gece, then Narin Yalnızlık, She Past Away has solidified this blend of cold wave and darkwave. With Disko Anksiyete, the tempo tightens, flirting with synth-pop without relinquishing the shadow. On stage, it's direct, frontal, calibrated for fans of post-punk, goth, and cold-wave sounds.
