If all goes well, Ascension on November 6, 2026 at Melkweg (Amsterdam) will be an evening that revolves entirely around SampliFire. This French producer has been carving out his own space within bass music since the second half of the 2010s, with a sound that leans on dubstep and riddim: dark, tight, and above all built for impact on a large sound system.
SampliFire is known for heavily processed basses, short, sharp hits, and drops that aim for tension and rhythm rather than long build-ups. His tracks play with contrasts and sudden breaks, with aggressive textures and a club-oriented energy that works just as well on festival stages. Over the years he has collaborated with names from the international bass scene, placing him at the intersection of dubstep, riddim, and a more front-facing EDM approach. At Ascension you won't get a detour: a set that directly targets the low frequencies.
