Hindley Street Country Club lands at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend-on-Sea on 21 April 2027 with its distinctive approach: an Australian collective of studio musicians gathered around bassist and producer Constantine Delo, launched in 2017 and built for renditions performed as a true live show. At HSCC, the idea is not luxury karaoke, but to restore groove and texture to pop, rock, soul and funk classics.
The group rose to prominence thanks to direct‑capture sessions, delivering that tight studio‑band sound: pop‑soul rhythm section, melodic guitars, keyboards very present, sometimes brass, and a regular rotation of invited vocalists whose presence changes the color of a track from one to the next. On stage, they transpose their versions of standards from the 70s, 80s and 90s, without shying away from more recent fare, balancing respect for the original structures with light rearrangements—just enough to rekindle the energy.
