Info
On 20 October 2026, Girl Group land at Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh with the kind of tight, melodic indie-pop that’s built for a room that likes things loud, close, and sung back. The Liverpool-based quintet, formed at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, write collectively and keep their songs grounded in relationships, group dynamics, and the everyday pressure of expectations put on women.
Their set pulls from early singles like “Life is Dumb” and “Lil’s Room”, alongside the run of 2025 tracks that shaped the EP Think They’re Looking, Let’s Perform: pop choruses that stick, taut guitars, and choral-style vocals that turn the band into its own crowd. When they lean into the sharper side of their sound, flashes of contemporary pop and pop-punk colour cut through, as on “Rage Song”. Expect a show that moves fast, keeps it direct, and leaves space for the whole room to join in.
