honestav will be performing in concert on October 14, 2026 at SWG3 Glasgow, presenting his distinctive blend of alternative rock, indie, and hip-hop. Born Avrey Freeman in Missouri, he built his sound on tracks where guitars with a touch of melancholy intersect with melodic rap and a vocal delivery that is direct, almost spoken, while always preserving an intimate edge.
Quickly spotted for posting his tracks on SoundCloud, he entered a new dimension in the early 2020s by broadening his music across platforms. In 2024, “I’d Rather Overdose” began to circulate widely, revealing a songwriting approach that sits between stark confession and contemporary pop-rock formats. In the wake of this, he followed with touring as a supporting act and laid the foundations of his universe with the EP hara-kiri, later extended by a deluxe version, while continuing to release tracks that reinforce this duality: rock energy and an edgy, nervy flow, vulnerability and an immediate hook. On stage, it promises a set that navigates between tension, memorable choruses and electric crescendos.
