As Everything Unfolds heads to Manchester Academy in Manchester on February 5, 2027. Formed in 2013 in High Wycombe, the band has carved out a distinct place on the British rock scene with a direct blend of melodic post-hardcore, alternative rock, and metalcore, always rooted in contrast. At the core, Charlie Rolfe's vocals ride the gaps between clear hooks and rougher passages, while the guitars tighten the frame, balancing tension and more atmospheric breaths.
After a string of EPs (Jekyll & Hyde, Collide, Closure), As Everything Unfolds grew in prominence with the album Within Each Lies the Other (2021), followed by Ultraviolet (2023), where front-facing energy combines with a more open writing, with pop dynamics and some electronic textures. More recently, Did You Ask to Be Set Free? (2026) extends this evolution, without losing the sense of riffs and choruses that stay in the mind. On stage, you can expect a tight, readable set, designed for impact as much as for emotion.
