Benjamin Biolay returns to the stage on November 14, 2026 at the Pin Galant in Mérignac. An author, composer and performer unlike any other in French chanson, he has for more than twenty years traced a singular path, between cinematic writing and tight arrangements. Trained at the conservatory, he spent time in rock before establishing himself as a solo artist, and he has also become known for his collaborations with Keren Ann, Vanessa Paradis and Louis Trio, without ever losing his taste for subversion. Since Rose Kennedy and the records that followed, Biolay has built a repertoire in which his hushed voice brushes against precise lyrics, often on a human scale, carried by a musicality that ranges between pop, chanson and more orchestral colors. On stage, his songs take on a different dimension: tighter, more vibrant, crafted to tell stories and convey emotion, without superfluous effects.
