Robert Finley arrives on November 4, 2026 at the Théâtre de Béthune with that blend of gospel, soul and Louisiana blues that he has carried with him for as long as he can remember. His story, however, does not resemble a conventional career plan: years spent playing wherever he could, before a first album finally released late, at 62, like a door opening at last.
Since then, Finley has released album after album and undertaken numerous tours, including several recorded with Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys). You can hear that rough, weathered voice, worn just enough, and above all that unvarnished way of telling stories: the South, work, the roads, memories, hard times and glimmers of light. On stage, all of this takes on a different dimension: a haunting vocal delivery, grooves that carry the scent of Louisiana, and songs that go straight to the point, between deep blues and nerve-tingling soul.
