Laurent Voulzy

On 30 September 2026, Laurent Voulzy makes a stop at the Colisée de Lens to reclaim the stage after his tour of cathedrals and churches, and a pause devoted to writing. On this new foray into theatres and festivals, he performs in two registers that suit him well: acoustic and electric, with that sense of melodic detail and vocal harmonies that has marked his discography.

Throughout the concert, there are songs that have accompanied generations, from Rockollection to Le Soleil Donne, including Belle-Île-en-Mer and Marie-Galante. The voice remains at the centre, poised and precise, carried by arrangements that let the refrains breathe and highlight the richness of the compositions.

Beside him: Michel Amsellem (piano, keyboards), Karen Brunon (violin, vocals), Mederic Bourges (cello, drums) and Olivier Brossard (bass, double bass, vocals) for a tightened stage setup, designed to bring the songs to life in a different way, closer to their colours.
