Dizzee Rascal - We Want Bass

Dizzee Rascal lands in Warsaw for We Want Bass at Niebo on 11 October 2026. Born in London and raised in Bow, he came up through pirate radio, first behind the decks in drum and bass before stepping forward as MC and producer. As a founding member of Roll Deep, he helped shape the early grime sound with a taut, sometimes high‑pitched flow over dry, jagged beats steeped in UK garage, bassline and British hip-hop. Signed to XL, he dropped I Luv U and the self-produced debut Boy in da Corner in 2003, a snapshot of raw urban writing that earned the Mercury Prize. He followed with Showtime (2004) and Maths + English (2007), while branching out through one-off collaborations with Arctic Monkeys or Basement Jaxx.

From Tongue n’ Cheek (2009) onward, Dizzee widened the lens toward pop and dance, working with Calvin Harris, Florence + the Machine or Shakira. After The Fifth (2013), he pivoted back to a more direct grime aesthetic with Raskit (2017), then E3 AF (2020) and Don’t Take It Personal (2024). On stage, expect bass-forward production and razor-edged bars that move between his early breakthroughs and recent cuts, connecting London’s lineage with club energy tailored for Niebo’s floor.
