On 14 November 2026 at The Grand Social in Dublin, Sundots lays out its quiet, meticulous world. Led by Connecticut musician Drew Collins, the project began in 2019 with a batch of stripped-back demos before growing into a live band with Jake Fucci, Austin Traver and Nick Restivo. What started as solitary songwriting has shifted toward a collective sound without losing its close-up intimacy.

Sundots moves between freak folk, ambient drift, slowcore pacing and lean indie rock. The tempos are patient, the dynamics hushed, and the textures do as much work as the hooks. Collins writes in a direct, almost stream-of-thought vein, circling youth, attachment, personal change and the pull of imagined futures. After several releases, Honeyspot (2024) sharpened that balance: the songs feel more cohesive as a group while keeping their soft edges and small details.

On stage, this translates into close-mic vocals, restrained guitars and subtle rhythms that leave space for the room to breathe. Quiet passages open into rougher corners, then ease back again, sketching songs that land gently but stick around.
