Walk Off the Earth

Walk Off the Earth will play SPOT/De Oosterpoort in Groningen on 19 October 2026. The Canadian band from Burlington, Ontario moves between indie pop, pop rock and folk, with acoustic arrangements, close harmonies and a touch of reggae. They built their reputation online with collaborative videos and clever arrangements, including the viral version of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know,” and gradually shifted the emphasis toward original material. On R.E.V.O. (2013), Sing It All Away (2015) and Here We Go! (2019) that balance is audible: melodies that linger, multiple voices intertwining and room for playful interplay.

On stage it’s about the collective. Band members swap instruments, share lead vocals and stack harmonies, allowing songs to change shape without losing their core. Covers and originals sit side by side, delivered energetically and compactly, with that typical WOTE shift between intimate and exuberant.
