Goat

Goat land at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Stretford on 30 April 2027. The Swedish collective has been bending psych rock since the early 2010s, mixing afrobeat pulses, funk drive, folk motifs and other influences. Built on heavy percussion and fuzzed-out riffs, their songs lean on repetition, chanted voices and grooves that spiral. Goat works as a rotating crew rather than a fixed lineup, cultivating an anonymous stage identity with masks and costumes, and a narrative that points to Korpilombolo as a mythical origin. World Music (2012) set the tone, followed by Commune (2014) and Requiem (2016), pushing the blend of kraut-leaning patterns and ritual rhythms. After live recordings and EPs, Headsoup (2021) gathered rarities, and Oh Death (2022) steered the writing toward more psych-folk shades without losing the percussive backbone. On stage, the project turns these pieces into collective rituals driven by layers of percussion, interlocking guitars and choral vocals.
