Info
Napalm Death brings Campaign for Musical Destruction Part 2 to Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on 8 November 2026. Formed in 1981 in Birmingham, the band helped define grindcore with a sound that fuses death metal velocity, punk hardcore bite and pointed political critique. Their debut Scum (1987) set the tone and included You Suffer, a 1.3‑second burst listed by Guinness as the shortest song ever recorded. From Enslavement to Obliteration (1988), Harmony Corruption (1990), Utopia Banished (1992) and Fear, Emptiness, Despair (1994) pushed the template forward, followed by the more recent Apex Predator – Easy Meat (2015), Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism (2020) and Resentment Is Always Seismic (2022).
Fronted since 1989 by vocalist Barney Greenway, Napalm Death on stage is all blast beats, serrated riffs and a voice that cuts through the mix, carrying themes of social tension, anti‑authoritarianism and the everyday grind. For this tour, they thread four decades of material, tying early grind eruptions to later, heavier grooves with a direct, no‑nonsense energy tailored for the pit.
