Info

Mystery Jets bring two decades of indie restlessness to SWG3 Glasgow on 22 November 2026. Born on Eel Pie Island in west London, the band cut their teeth on DIY shows before shaping the psych‑tinged pop of Making Dens, then tightening the hooks on Twenty One, with Young Love featuring Laura Marling. Serotonin broadened their pop‑rock palette; Radlands, recorded partly in Austin, drew in a dustier Americana shade. Curve of the Earth leaned toward dreamier textures, and A Billion Heartbeats turned to social themes while staying melodic.

Through lineup shifts, including co‑founder William Rees leaving in 2020, Blaine Harrison and crew keep a balance of chiming guitars, synth colours and grounded choruses. On stage, the set moves between bright indie pop, post‑punk edges and a reflective English lilt, carried by melodic refrains and careful arrangements. From island parties to a catalogue spanning the 2000s to today, Mystery Jets trace a line where psych rock and tuneful songwriting meet without fuss.
