Info
On May 15, 2027, at Sala Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Barón Rojo and Muro share the stage. Barón Rojo, formed in Madrid in 1980, consolidated a classic heavy metal sound built on twin guitars and choruses in Spanish, with lyrics that alternate between social commentary and more personal registers. Their early records, such as Larga vida al rock and roll (1981), Volumen brutal (1982), Metalmorfosis (1983) and En un lugar de la marcha (1985), opened the major venues across the peninsula and European festivals for them. Through lineup changes, the core of the De Castro brothers maintained a direct, melodic repertoire that left a mark on Spanish-language metal. In concert, their set typically revisits that era with sharp riffs and choruses everyone knows.
Muro, formed in 1981 in Vallecas, move between classic heavy metal and speed metal: fast tempos, tense riffs and a punchy, upfront attack. The arrival of Silver in 1985 established the most remembered quartet alongside Largo on guitar, Julito on bass and Lapi on drums, with milestones such as the live recording Acero y Sangre (1987) and the albums Telón de Acero (1988), Mutant Hunter (1989) and Pacto de Sangre (1992). After various departures and reunions, the band reactivated with its classic lineup and released El Cuarto Jinete in 2013; since then the vocals have been handled by Rosa Pérez Rocksa. On stage, they maintain that fast, compact pulse that defines their sound.
