Info
On January 18, 2027 at Porgy & Bess in Vienna, J. Bernardt brings Jinte Deprez’s solo world back into the spotlight. Best known as a co-founder of Balthazar, Deprez uses this project to step out of his band’s rock framework and lean into a looser, voice-led songwriting style where indie pop and pop rock brush up against R&B, soul, hip-hop and understated electronic textures.
Built around melodic layers and rhythms that often feel slowed down or slightly off-kilter, the J. Bernardt set draws from the early imprint of Running Days and the more introspective, hybrid direction heard on Contigo. Expect a performance that moves between groove and restraint, with songs shaped to breathe on stage: close, direct, and driven by tone as much as by hooks.
