Hiding Places formed in the countryside of Athens, Georgia, in 2020, but their roots trace back to a shared college radio station in North Carolina. Guitarists/vocalists Audrey Keelin and Nicholas Byrne, bassist Michael Matsakis, and drummer Henry Cutting create a folk-alternative rock collaboration that blends storytelling with intricate, guitar-driven textures.
Now based in Brooklyn’s DIY scene, Hiding Places focuses on vocals and layered, guitar-driven melodies. They released the EP Lesson in 2024. Hiding Places will perform on 9 November 2026 at 7:30 pm at Green Door Store in Brighton.
