On 1 October 2026, Wrex bring their nu‑metal‑punk charge to New Cross Inn, London. The Brighton crew splice the weight of late‑90s metal with the pace and grit of punk: serrated guitars, thick basslines and drums that switch from bounce to blast. Vocals move between a raw chant and tuneful hooks, made to be yelled back, while riffs land short, heavy and direct.
On stage, Wrex keep it tight and restless. Songs hit hard, drop into head‑down breakdowns, then spring back with chant‑along refrains. The set leans on big grooves, palm‑muted chugs and a DIY punch, with enough melody to stick. No filler, just sharp, high‑tempo energy from start to finish.
