Michel Jonasz returns to the stage with Jean‑Yves D’Angelo for the fifth season of their Piano‑Voice. Fifteen years after the first run and with more than 350 concerts to their name, the duo revives the project in 2026–2027 with a voice-and-piano tête‑à‑tête designed for intimacy. On the program: words that groove, a keyboard that breathes, and songs that span the years, mixing signature hits with new shades. La Boîte de jazz, Joueurs de blues, Les Vacances au bord de la mer and other classics take on a pared-down color, where the text and phrasing come to the fore. D’Angelo, a long-standing companion, sculpts the silences, lays down a supple swing and answers Jonasz’s impulses—like in the studio but rawer.

This piano-and-voice format, honed over the seasons, condenses Jonasz’s DNA: a blend of jazz, soul and chanson, without artifice, that bets on listening and complicity. A direct way to revisit a landmark repertoire while leaving the door open to improvisation and the breaths of the moment.
