Ben Plg

On December 3, 2026 at Stereolux in Nantes, BEN plg returns with rap firmly rooted in reality. Born in Villeneuve-d’Ascq and raised in Tourcoing, he first performed under the name Ben l’Oncle Rap before adopting BEN plg as a nod to his 2019 project Pour la gloire. Since then he has carved a clear line between introspection, street rap and melodic touches, with a direct writing style nourished by everyday life and social observation. He has been followed through Dans nos yeux (2020), Parcours accidenté (2021), the series Réalité Rap Musique, then J’rêve mieux qu’avant (2023), Dire je t’aime (2024) and Paraît que les miracles n’existent pas (2025).

On stage, BEN plg strings together sharp imagery and restrained choruses, driven by a precise flow. His appearance on Nouvelle École widened his audience without altering his core, and collaborations with Bekar, Georgio, Niro and Zed Yun Pavarotti have sharpened his arsenal. In Nantes he will come to defend his latest tracks and pull out a few standout pieces, balancing unvarnished confessions with the raw energy of the beats. The set is refocused on lyrics, storytelling and closeness, tailored for those who appreciate rap that says things without beating around the bush.
