Les Louanges

Les Louanges is the project of Quebecois singer‑songwriter and producer Vincent Roberge. Over his releases he has forged a signature that blends funk and soul grooves with precise pop, drawing on influences ranging from D’Angelo to Gorillaz and Leonard Cohen. He writes in French, has a keen sense of arrangement and uses electronic touches with restraint: a terrain where the voice slips between melody and spoken‑sung phrasing, always in service of the songs.

After La nuit est une panthère (2018) and Crash (2022), he released Alouette! in 2026, his third album that extends this hybrid vein. On stage, Les Louanges reinterprets his tracks by stretching or tightening them, propelled by a flexible rhythmic backbone, warm keyboards and taut guitars. That bittersweet tension runs through his world, between nocturnal pulses and luminous choruses.

Les Louanges will play Le Ferrailleur in Nantes on January 28, 2027 — a date to dive into Alouette! and revisit the songs that have made Vincent Roberge one of the standout figures of the Quebec pop revival.
